I stayed at Paulibude for a few nights with a group of friends and had a fantastic time. The location is unbeatable, right next to Reeperbahn, yet the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. The self check-in process was a fun way to start our stay. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were basic but clean, and the showers and toilets were well-maintained. The shared rooms were perfect for relaxing and having a drink. Plus, the strong wifi and kitchen facilities were a bonus for budget travelers.
I do recommend this hotel.
